Hey I’m Jordan!

I never know how to wrap myself up into a nice little paragraph, it’s just not my style. I’m the kind of gal that likes lengthy novels, cross-country road trips and spending all day in art museums. I love listening to and telling stories, especially through my camera. I’m somehow both an introvert and an extrovert. In the end I think those are all the things that make me a successful photographer. I describe my photography style as fine art-documentary. I make honest photos through a creative lens.

The one secret you should know about me... I never thought I’d be a wedding photographer but it turns out that weddings are my absolute favorite thing to photograph.

While getting my degree in Photography at Columbia College Chicago, I dreamed of being able to make the kind of work I wanted and being able to find clients who love the way I tell stories through my camera. I didn’t know that this would be through wedding photography until I shot my first wedding in 2013.

I photograph weddings and couples because it’s an honoring challenge to capture those intangible feelings of love. I live for capturing those little romantic moments, those goofy things that only happen in real life and doing so in a way that’s true to my artistic vision and to you as a couple. Wedding photography for me is a collaboration with you the couple. I want you to be relaxed and comfortable on your wedding day because you know that you’re in good hands.

If you’re interested in having your wedding day documented in a way that turns your love into art you can hold onto for the years to come, please contact me. I’d love nothing more than to tell the story of your love for each other.

How many photos do you deliver and what is your turn around time?

I typically deliver anywhere between 500-1,000 final images; this depends on how many hours of coverage you book me for. I deliver all of your final edited images 6-8 weeks after the day of your wedding and a few teaser images the day after your wedding. You will get your images through a personalized online client gallery where you can download all of your images and even order prints if you'd like.

How much editing do you do?

I do all of my editing through Lightroom which includes, lens corrections, color correction, minimal retouching (blemishes etc.) and I have a set of custom filters I often utilize. I deliver a mixture of color and black and white images. Please view my galleries to get a sense of my editing style.

Do you make wedding albums?

Yes, custom albums are available and a great way to keep your wedding day memories!

Can we order prints through you?

You can order prints through your online gallery!

Do you work with a second shooter?

I currently work as a one-woman powerhouse for the majority of my weddings. However, if you are planning a more involved wedding hiring a second shooter is an option I provide and also gives you double the coverage! This is an excellent option if you are looking for a lot of candid photos on your wedding day. I work with a couple of different photographers who are also good friends and whose styles are similar to my own.

Do you have insurance? What happens if something happens to you?

Yes, I have insurance and back up gear, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. As it states in my contract should something serious happen to me (it would take a lot for me to not be able to make it) and I cannot make it to your wedding I will find a suitable photographer that I have extreme confidence in to replace me. (Luckily the majority of my friends are super talented photographers!)
